Learn lyrical pole in small groups (maximum 10 people) and discover how to express yourself on the pole like a true artist. Take part in a live violin concert where you are the performer — the dancer.
Outside the classes, try a pole on a boat over the ocean, take photos on black sand beaches, hike Fanal Forest, and end the day with a sunset tea ceremony. These experiences will strengthen your body and stay with you long after the retreat ends.

Where You'll Train
We believe a retreat is a moment to step away from the studio, so we organize pole training sessions directly at the villa where we stay — either outdoors or indoors.
Pole Stages for Trainings
We offer quality pole stages from renowned brands such as ThePole Italy and Lupit Pole, perfect for training. These will be installed in the bright, window-filled room shown on the left — a spacious indoor area with large French windows that allow plenty of natural light and overlook lush greenery, creating an airy and inspiring atmosphere for practice.
Many students wonder if the warm and humid climate of Madeira will affect their training. In fact, the weather here is mild and pleasant—nothing like the heat found in some regions of Asia. This makes Madeira an ideal place for pole training, allowing you to focus on your practice comfortably.

Each morning, you will enjoy a full continental buffet breakfast served at the hotel.
The buffet includes:

You will have two dinners included in your ticket: one at a restaurant with an ocean view, and another in the form of a carefully prepared boho-style picnic. This will be our first time offering this type of picnic experience, and we are truly excited to include this beautiful social gathering in nature as part of the retreat.

Where you will stay
Ponta do Sol is the sunniest village on the island — where dramatic cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean. Around Ponta do Sol, you can find small villages, terraced fields, and hiking trails along the coastline and hills. Nearby natural attractions include the Anjos Waterfall.

A Traditional Madeiran Manor at the Top of the Mountain
With an incredible view, a lush green landscape and the turquoise sea coast, at the top of a mountain in Lombo de São João, Ponta do Sol, the Villa is a traditional Madeiran manor house from the late 19th century with a multi-hectare estate.
Preserved and restored in its original architectural style, the house is decorated in a way that evokes traditional Madeiran farmhouses.
You'll have full access to the kitchen, so everyone can enjoy preparing their own meals at the villa.
Booking, journaling, relaxing
The villa has a cosy living room where you can spend your time calmly reading books, journaling, or enjoying a drink. We also have a bar in the villa where you can choose from a selection of drinks (honesty bar, not included in the retreat price).
Cats
The villa is home to several resident cats who are a charming addition for animal and nature lovers. These friendly companions love to socialize and spend time with guests, adding to the warm, natural atmosphere. Please note: If you have a cat allergy, this may not be the ideal location for your stay.
Relax, have fun, and take poolside photos
The villa features a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and a soothing sauna, offering the perfect way to unwind after your lessons. Whether you want to take a leisurely swim, bask in the sun, or let the gentle heat of the sauna melt away tension, these spaces provide a serene retreat where you can truly relax, recharge, and enjoy a moment of peace.
Choose a private or shared room
We offer a range of accommodation options, including private rooms and shared rooms with two single beds or two single beds plus a sofa bed.
Prices vary depending on the option selected: the sofa bed is the most affordable choice, while the private room is the most exclusive. However, you are welcome to share a private room with a pole friend, partner, or companion at no additional cost — and breakfast is included for both guests.
The villa features 13 rooms in total, including 7 double rooms (available in superior and standard categories) and 6 twin rooms.
As the price is per room rather than per person, it offers excellent value for those wishing to share. You can choose your preferred room type during the final step of registration.

A pole dance retreat in Madeira always has an artistic touch. Activities include outdoor photoshoots in scenic locations, special editions with violin concerts combined with pole dancing, and boat trips with a hanging pole — a unique activity exclusive to the retreat. Transfers to all activities are usually included. This retreat is perfect for travelers seeking a creative and active pole dance holiday in Madeira.
Yes! Many guests join our retreats alone. You'll train alongside other travelers and have plenty of opportunities to socialize during meals, activities, and excursions, making it ideal for solo travelers or groups.
This retreat is suitable for beginner, intermediate, and advanced pole dancers. However, we do not accept complete beginners who have never tried pole dance before. If you find out about this event in advance, we encourage you to start practicing now and join us once you have at least 5 months of pole experience. We also offer other events for non-polers and absolute beginners — please check our website for more information.
All breakfasts are included in the price, as well as two group dinners: one dinner at a local restaurant and one outdoor picnic experience. We will also make a stop at a shopping center during the retreat, and you will have access to a fully equipped kitchen in the villa if you wish to prepare your own meals.
You can secure your spot with a €500 deposit and pay the remaining balance in several installments. Payment plans depend on when you book your ticket, but we generally offer flexible payment options. Additionally, if you join with a pole friend, each of you will receive a €50 discount.
You may cancel your booking up to 3 months before the retreat start date. After this period, cancellations are not refundable due to our commitments to on-site suppliers. However, you may transfer your spot to another person if you are able to find a replacement. Refunds are typically processed within 4 to 6 weeks after the request.
We recommend bringing your pole wear, swimsuit, sun protection, sunglasses, mosquito repellent, and comfortable hiking shoes. Please note that some light hiking activities are included in the retreat program.
Breakfasts offer a variety of options that you can choose from according to your dietary needs, including during our community dinners. Other lunches and dinners are not included in the price, but you are welcome to purchase your preferred food and prepare meals in the villa's kitchen.
